Company Culture & Insights

Fluence was born from a partnership between Siemens and AES, giving it a culture that blends “Old World” industrial reliability with “New World” tech agility. The “All In” and “Unleash Voices” pillars suggest a flat hierarchy where an engineer’s data-backed opinion can override traditional seniority. In the Bangalore hub, you will likely find a fast-paced R&D environment focused on the global energy transition.

Why We Recommend This Job

  • Sustainability Frontier: Energy storage is the single most important technology for making wind and solar power viable. You are literally building the future of the green grid.
  • Cutting-Edge Tooling: Fluence is pushing Generative Design (AI-driven CAD). You will be using tools like Creo GTO to let AI help you find the lightest, strongest design possible.
  • Scale and Impact: With gigawatts of storage deployed, a 1% improvement in your enclosure’s cooling efficiency can save massive amounts of energy globally.

Career Growth Potential

The path at Fluence typically leads toward Principal Engineer or Systems Architect. Because the energy storage market is exploding (projected to grow exponentially through 2030), having “Senior BESS Enclosure Engineer” on your resume will make you one of the most sought-after mechanical experts in the renewable energy sector.
