Role Summary
The Shopfloor Software Technician is a unique “Industrial IT” role. Unlike a standard web developer, you will be working at the intersection of Software and Manufacturing (Industry 4.0). Your primary job is to ensure that the software running the production lines—tracking parts, managing quality checks, and communicating with hardware—is functioning perfectly. Using JavaScript, you will likely be working on internal dashboards, automation scripts, or interfaces for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
