We are specifically looking for immediate joiners who can integrate quickly into our workflow.

Requirements

  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Software: Expert-level familiarity with SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, and Drawing modules) and AutoCAD.
  • Manufacturing IQ: Practical understanding of Machining, Casting, Forging, and Sheet Metal processes.
  • Technical Standards: Deep knowledge of GD&T and international engineering drawing standards.
  • Hands-on Capability: Experience using precision measurement instruments, including Vernier Calipers, Pitch Gauges, and Radius Gauges.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • CAD Development: Design intricate 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks, ensuring design intent and structural integrity.
  • Manufacturing Documentation: Generate precise 2D technical drawings via AutoCAD and SolidWorks for production use.
  • Standards & Specifications: Apply GD&T principles and conduct tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure part interchangeability; manage detailed Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Component Engineering: Design diverse mechanical parts, including machined components and sheet metal assemblies.
  • Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate with production and quality departments to verify that designs are feasible and meet manufacturing standards.
  • Lifecycle Support: Assist in mechanical assembly and physical testing phases, making design modifications based on real-world performance and quality feedback.

Role Summary

The Mechanical Design Engineer at GloInnt is a “Practical Designer” role. You aren’t just creating aesthetic shapes; you are defining exactly how a metal part will be cut, bent, or cast. With 1–2 years of experience, you will likely spend significant time on DFM (Design for Manufacturing), ensuring that what looks good on a screen can actually be built efficiently on a factory floor. In the Aerospace and Automotive domains, the margin for error is near zero, making this a high-stakes, high-accuracy position.

Company Culture & Insights

GloInnt (Global Innovation & Technology) typically operates as an engineering services and consulting partner. The culture here is fast-paced and project-centric. You will likely work on a variety of different client projects, which prevents “bore-out” but requires high adaptability. The office environment in Bangalore is collaborative, with a heavy emphasis on peer reviews—expect your CAD files to be scrutinized for “clashes” or “over-tolerancing.”

Why We Recommend This Job

  • High-Value Domain: Building a resume in Aerospace and Automotive early on is a smart strategic move. These industries have some of the highest engineering standards in the world.
  • Tool Proficiency: Using SolidWorks in a professional capacity for assemblies prepares you for more senior roles in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Practical Exposure: The requirement for hands-on measurement tools means you won’t be trapped behind a desk; you’ll be on the shop floor validating your own designs.

Career Growth Potential

Vertical Growth: You can advance to Senior Design Engineer or Lead Design Engineer within 3–5 years.

Horizontal Growth: This role provides the perfect foundation to transition into FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) if you enjoy the simulation and stress-testing side of design.

Management Path: Your experience with BOMs and cross-functional coordination is a direct lead-in to Technical Project Management.

Skills You’ll Gain

  • GD&T Mastery: Learning how to apply “Functional Dimensioning” to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining quality.
  • Material Selection: Understanding the mechanical properties of different alloys and how they react under stress or heat.
  • Revision Management: Developing a disciplined approach to version control, which is vital in large-scale engineering.

Salary & Benefits Info

  • Estimated Salary: For a 1–2 year experience bracket in Bangalore’s mechanical sector, the market range is roughly ₹4,50,000 – ₹7,50,000 per annum.
  • Benefits: Typical packages include medical insurance, statutory bonuses, and specialized training in advanced CAD/CAM modules.
