Job Description
As a Software Engineer I in the Capture Engineering division, you will be responsible for developing the “hooks” and APIs that intercept and ingest data from various communication platforms. This is a full-stack role with a heavy emphasis on backend logic, data-centric application design, and building scalable web services. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with a global team to ensure Smarsh’s leadership in the Gartner Magic Quadrant remains undisputed.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in the .NET and .NET Core ecosystem.
- Backend Proficiency: * Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework, Dapper).
- Knowledge of Concurrency Patterns (Async/Await, Task Parallel Library).
- Web Services: Hands-on experience developing REST and SOAP services.
