Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM). Your primary mission is to build and enhance the platforms that create a “single version of truth” for the organization’s most critical data (customers, products, assets). You will design and deploy APIs that allow other business units to consume this master data seamlessly. This is a full-stack data engineering role, requiring proficiency in distributed systems (Spark) and modern application frameworks (Node.js).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Professional-level experience in software engineering, specifically within data-centric environments.
  • Core Technical Stack:
  • Languages: Python, Spark (for distributed data processing), and Node.js frameworks.
  • MDM Tools: Preference for Ataccama, but experience with Informatica, Reltio, or IBM MDM is transferable.
  • Cloud: Applied experience with AWS Core Services (CloudWatch, Code-Deploy, Kinesis, SQS).
  • API Development: Strong skills in REST, JSON, SOAP, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns.
  • Methodologies: Expert knowledge of Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket).
